Colorado Passes Wage Theft Legislation
According to CBS Denver, a new bill has just been signed that allows wage theft to be known by the public. This bill was signed by Governor John Hickenlooper on April 13, 2017
In other words, if an employer commits wage theft the public is now allowed to discover the information. This allows customers, investors, or possible employees of businesses to discover if they are considering business with an employer that is committing wage theft.
This allows more transparency and hopes to deter employers from committing this crime.
